The fast and comprehensive re-branding of an industry-transformer

IZARA was 1,5 months from a merger when the CEO came to us. Due to a very quick and structured project plan, great teamwork, and sense of urgency across the board, IZARA and were able to finalize a complete rebranding before launch date. This is the story of a partnership between two companies with a shared goal: to help other businesses focus on their core competencies.

IZARA ApS is a merger between IT and Business Adviser IZARA and Dynamics experts, AXspecialists. The company employs 35 highly specialised experts in its headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

When IZARA’s CEO Jakob Ingemann reached out to us in the summer of 2017, he was already one step closer to building his dream – changing the IT industry from the traditional resource, hardware, and consultancy intensive, unpredictable and costly static chain-around-the-leg it had become, into a scalable, flexible and business-enabling as-a-service. The agreement had been made and his company would merge with the larger and very successful AXspecialists on 1st October.

But despite the strong plan and objectives, the questions were many:
What are the key benefits perceived by the customer? How can IZARA prepare its organisation to support and sell these and with which key messages? How should the new brand be positioned and developed? What graphics, communication channels and material had to be created, how and by who?

After a thorough analysis and industry-learning phase, we created a project plan outlining all activities; small, big, urgent and less urgent. While working with short deadlines, the detailed project plan gave IZARA management and third-party suppliers an instant overview of the status and dependables. This structured approach and great teamwork helped us get everything ready before the launch:

  • brand platform with tagline, story values, key messages, tone of voice, vision and mission
  • graphics such as logo, colour palette, fonts, graphical elements, and photography style
  • office logo wall, mouse mats, computer backgrounds, business cards, and photoshoot
  • communication channels including closure of old sites and re-design of new website
  • communication material including website content, news, press releases and LinkedIn articles

It is in my and IZARA’s nature to focus on our core expertise, our business objectives, which is also what we offer our customers. Working with was extremely relieving since Sara’s long and all-round experience with branding and business-support, high drive and determination to meet even challenging deadlines, kept us ahead and ensured the delivery of a high quality rolex replica product in time. After launch, we have continued our partnership, now focusing on tactical communication, internal value buy-in, employer branding and trademark activities in the future.
